Dataset description

The BGR carried out an area-based flight in the area of the Stassfurt-Egelner Sattel as part of a BMBF research project “Dynamics of open or flooded salt mines and its top mountain stock plant”. The Stassfurt measuring area (2007) is surrounded by the cities and municipalities of Aschersleben, Kroppenstedt, Hadmersleben, Altenweddingen, Atzendorf, Förderstedt and Bernburg. The area size is about 467 km² and 29 measuring flights with a total profile length of 5 034 km (133,390 measuring points) were needed to cover the entire measuring area. The Sollab stand of the 155 SO-NW measurement profiles is 100 m, the Sollab level of the 33 NO-SW control profiles is 1 000 m. The ASCII data file contains the raw data as well as the processed HRD data.
