Schools of health care (E12.1): New recordings after general education, gender and nationality -Kreis — School year

*Short description The statistics at the schools of health care comprise all schools of health care based in North Rhine-Westphalia, which are reported to us all year round by the competent district governments. The survey takes place annually on the reference date 15.10. on the basis of voluntary participation, the participation rate of active schools is usually around 90 %. Response failures in both unit and item nonresponse are not replaced by estimates from imputation techniques. Consequently, official data on public health schools may be incomplete in the sense of a total survey and different. School stock: It lists the schools that participated in the online survey, reported their active operations in this process and are available for useable reporting data. In addition, those schools that were temporarily not in operation on the reporting date of the survey are registered as “retired”. These, as well as any other schools that did not participate in the survey, are not shown in the country database. Teachers: All teachers were collected exclusively at the level of the whole school as an organisational and institutional unit. Since teachers may have worked in several schools throughout the year, multiple counts may occur in such cases due to the survey. Full-time work is carried out in the case of employment in which at least half of the normal weekly working time is carried out. Full-time employment is the case with full weekly normal working time, while part-time work is not done unless the full but at least half of the weekly normal working time is performed. Training under the Nursing Professions Act: Does not include pupils who are trained under the new Nursing Professions Act (PflBG) (e.g. nursing professional/care professional). Does not include nursing schools or teachers at nursing schools who train exclusively according to the PflBG. These are instead collected separately in the federal nursing training statistics. Gender: Includes pupils and teachers with the genders of female, male, divers and without indication (in the birth register). The actual female pupils are identified among female teachers. Explanation on the regionalisation of data: Due to the survey, the regional allocation of the classes and the number of trainees is carried out by indicating the place of instruction, that of schools and teachers based on the address of the main location.
