Siren locations Wuppertal

The data set of the Sirenen locations Wuppertal includes the location descriptions of 37 existing and 9 planned fixed sirens modeled by the Wuppertal professional fire brigade. In addition to the sirens, the power, type (manufacturer short name) and status (inactive, active or planned) are indicated. The stationary high-performance sirens form the backbone of the combined population warning system of the city of Wuppertal, which includes an additional 6 mobile sirens and other elements (radio and loudspeaker announcements, citizen phone, Internet messages). The continuation of the data set takes place irregularly, respectively promptly after a real change to the sirens. The open data set available in Shape, KML, GeoJSON and CSV format under an Open Data License (CC BY 4.0) is nevertheless automatically updated in a fixed weekly cycle.
