Street directory Wuppertal

The Wuppertal Road Register includes the 2160 official street names and keys in the Wuppertal city area (as of 09/2021). It should be noted that the city of Wuppertal uses the abbreviated designation “*str.” in the official street names instead of “*straße”. The data set is automatically derived weekly from the small-scale structure of the city of Wuppertal, a node and edge model of the city, which serves as the spatial reference basis for the Wuppertal municipal statistics. (Of course, the street directory will only be changed if roads have been newly created or have fallen away or if the number areas explained below have changed.) For each street, the total length as well as the district in which the road is located is indicated. In the case of roads passing through several urban districts, the dataset contains correspondingly multiple names of these roads in separate lines. In these cases, the lower and upper limits of the house number area with which the respective section of the road is located in the specified district are also indicated. These house number areas are also listed in separate rows of the file separately according to even and odd areas. In general, this creates four lines for a road that runs through two districts. The record is available as a zipped CSV file under an open data license (CC BY 4.0).
