Dataset description

The data have been developed as part of the project Groundwater Flurabstand 2013 for the main aquifer of the LfU Brandenburg. The areas with tensioned groundwater conditions are shown. This is based on the reference date-related groundwater measurements in spring 2011 as well as about 63,000 wells with data on groundwater levels from the GeoDaB of the LBGR. For the designation of areas with tensioned groundwater, the following applies: The groundwater pressure surface of the main aquifer is located above its deck surface within a groundwater retardant or low-conducting layer, — the layers themselves or together with the groundwater retardant layers stored above and below more than 2 m thick (without taking into account low-power rolling layers up to 0.5 m) and in which the pressure mirror height is > 1 m above the sole of the groundwater-resistant layer complex. — and at corridor distances < 2 m, all layers above the pressure mirror height are groundwater-resistant and the Pressure mirror height > 1 m above the sole of the groundwater retardant layer complex.
