The map shows biomass heat generation plants including their heat output in Berlin, which were supported by the market incentive programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) between 2010 and 2017, aggregated by district. It can be assumed that the actual number of biomass heat generation plants is higher and that individual plants are not covered or supported by the market incentive scheme.
