Dataset description

This map depicts the planned course of the relocated Wilhelmsburg Reichsstraße B4/75. The basis is the planning of the DEGES on the planning decision for the relocation of the federal road B 4/75 (Wilhelmsburger Reichsstraße) between the junctions HH-Georgswerder and HH-Wilhelmsburg-Süd together with the adaptation of railway operations. It is planned to bundle the federal road B4/75 between the mentioned junctions on a length of approximately 4.6 km with the railway facilities located to the east. In addition to the planned four-strip new construction of the federal road with a control width of 28 m and the conversion of the junction HH-Wilhelmsburg-Süd, the corresponding adaptations of the railway operating systems as well as the production of extensive noise protection systems are planned. Furthermore, a junction HH-Wilhelmsburg-Mitte with connection to Rotenhäuser Straße is planned. Through the project directly affected city roads, such as the Kornweide, Vogelhüttendeich and Rotenhäuser Straße and their intersection with Dratelnstraße/Rubbertstraße, will also be adapted. The areas on which the new highway is to be run are currently still partly used by railway operations. It is therefore planned to reclassify the track facilities without losing capacity for the route traffic. In particular, the westernmost track will be moved further to the east. The project also includes prevention, compensatory and replacement measures, including noise protection measures along the road and railways, structural avoidance of harmful environmental impacts, avoidance measures in the implementation of the construction measure, compensatory measures on other areas in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg and Bergedorf for interventions in nature and landscape. Active noise protection measures are planned on roads and tracks, in particular noise barriers with a total length of approximately 15.1 km and a height of predominantly 4 m or more.
