Statistical data on the work of the twelve Berlin Volkshochschulen in 2018. Here you can find information on courses, teaching units, occupancy and data about the institutions themselves. In cooperation with the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE) https://www.die-bonn.de/weiterbildung/Statistik/vhs-statistik/default.aspx Under the umbrella of the German Volkshochschulen Verband (DVV), the Volkshochschul-Landesverband and their members, the Volkshochschulen, have joined forces to pursue common goals. These are in the promotion of further education and educational work in the adult higher education institutions as well as the representation of the interests of the primary higher education sector at the federal, European and international level. With its provider statistics, the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE) and the German Volkshochschul Association have primary data on the very heterogeneous field of adult education institutions and offers an individual information and evaluation service. Current information on institutional characteristics, human resources and finances and the range of services provided at events and participants is available annually.
