Village renewal programme 2022 North Rhine-Westphalia

The table shows you which projects were selected for village renewal funding in the 2022 programme year. The basic objective of the “Village Renovation” support programme is to secure places and districts in rural areas in their village-specific settlement structures as habitats, work, recreation, cultural and natural spaces for people in a crisis-proof manner and to make them fit for the future. The funding takes place exclusively within the North Rhine-Westphalian landscape of rural areas in places or districts of up to 10,000 inhabitants. The funding programme is aimed at both public and private applicants. The Land of North Rhine-Westphalia pursues the following objectives with the support programme for the “Dorfer Renewal 2022”: — the creation of places and buildings of encounter and social exchange so that civic and voluntary engagement can be found, — safeguarding the basic services of the local population; — rectification of urban maladministration affecting the sitescape; and — the safeguarding of the image-shaping structure as an anchor point of regional identity.
