Water-scientific measurement data

For Berlin, up-to-date and historical measurement data from the state measuring network for surface waters (rivers and lakes) and groundwater (aquifers) are available on a daily basis. Available data include hydrological (water level, flow) and hydrogeological (groundwater level, hydrochemical analysis results) measured values. Furthermore, various quality parameters such as temperature, electrical conductivity, pH, oxygen content etc. are available from both areas. There are several ways to download data: The API can be used to query data. Documentation is available for this purpose. However, data can also be downloaded directly in CSV format via the website Wasserportal.berlin.de. There are 3 variants of aggregated data available: 1. Individual values of the last 12 months as an arithmetic mean of the measured values over the time interval of 15 minutes. 2. Daily values from the start of measurement as daily averages and, if applicable, with daily maximum and daily minimum values. 3. Monthly values from the start of measurement with monthly minimum, mean, -maximum.
