The data set contains the tree precipitations of the Garden, Cemetery and Forestry Office for the winter of 2019/2020.
In a second dataset you will find information about the 2019 summer tree precipitation.
In order to ensure traffic safety in the public road area, tree precipitations are regularly carried out in the urban area.
Reasons for precipitation are many. This allows different triggers for removal of the tree, from fungal and rotting to storm and stem damage. Of course, the trees are examined for incubated nests before precipitation. Where possible, the sites of the felled trees will be replanted as soon as possible. Further information on the topic “tree precipitation in the urban area” can be found on the page of the garden, cemetery and forestry office.
A compostable and weatherproof cardboard shield is attached to the trees to be cut, showing a QR code. This can be scanned with a smartphone and you are redirected to a map application that uses red dots to indicate the locations of the trees to be cut. In the application, the field “Object Information” can be selected under the “Tools” to obtain more information about the tree to be cut. The map can also be called directly.
