Single System for Control of Pension Payments — ILIOS

From 1.1.2013 IDIKA S.A. under Law 4093/2012 undertook the creation of the single system for the control of pension payments — “System Ilios”, which for the first time collected data from 92 information systems of insurance institutions for 4.5 million pensions and identified 2.7 million pensioners. In accordance with the procedure laid down by the social security authorities, they shall send to IDIKA SA an electronic pension payment file on a monthly basis with a deadline on the 10th day of each month, containing in detail and per pensioner the amounts of pensions paid by each institution, an indication of exemption from the reductions provided for and the periodicity of payment of the pension amount. The H.D.I.A. then checks the correctness and completeness of the data contained in the files and performs the necessary calculations by producing the final files to “DIAS”. At the same time, it processes statistically the data presented in detail and in full transparency in the monthly reports of the Single Pension Control System “Ilios” since June 2013.
