Register of Operators Using Solvents in Industrial Process
Under two pieces of legislation, the Air Monitoring and Noise Control Unit of Dublin City Council is involved in the assessment of applications for Certificates of compliance/approval in relation to solvent use. This Dataset comprises two spreadsheets; the VOC (volatile Organic Compounds) Register and DECO (Paints) Register, which contain names and addresses of the operators and expiry dates of certificates.‘The Emissions of volatile Organic Compounds from Organic Solvents Regulations 2002 introduced controls on emissions of VOCs from various commercial activities including dry cleaners, sheet metal work, manufacturers of metal gates and Fencing, electronics manufacturing and pharmaceutical manufacturing etc. Many of these types of business may be included or exempted under Regulations (Paints with these Regulations depending on the quantity of solvent used.’Under the use of Organic Solvents in certain Paints, Varnishes and Vehicle Refining Vehicle Regulations 2007 (Paints of businesses may be included or exempted under Regulations (Paints) used.’Under the use of Organic Solvents in certain Paints.
