Dataset description

This Dataset contains a coverage for important mapped and digitised limits of glacial erratic carriages across Ireland. The map forms part of the GSI Quaternary Map series. The erratic Carriage Sink is an arc feature class made up of erratic limit and Inferred erratic Path features. Data recorded on the maps including the lithology of the erratic rocks, an the relevant academic paper references where the data were sourced. The map together with the catalogue constitute the Dataset
