Dataset description

Sections of the coast where bathing is expressly prohibited. In Emilia-Romagna, currently, there are about 28 km of coast not used for bathing on a total of over 136 km of total coastline. Of these, about 16 km are located in the province of Ferrara, 10 km in the province of Ravenna, 0.3 km in the province of Forlì-Cesena and 1.5 km in the province of Rimini. The areas not used for bathing, and therefore prohibited, are divided into the following categories: mollusc farming areas, military areas, areas subject to conservation restrictions as they are inserted within the Po Delta Regional Park, river areas and port areas.
