Dataset description

From 1987 to 1999, 15 natural water bodies and 7 artificial bodies were investigated by the Province of Milan, such as the Northern Lambro River, the Ticino River, the Olona River, the Seveso River, the Adda River and the Naviglio Grande, for a total of 31 sampling stations. In the Data set, all analytical tests carried out during the period, in accordance with the LR, are collected. 32/80. In implementation of this law, a series of chemical — physical — biological parameters were detected on the main watercourses in the territory of the then province of Milan. With the adoption of Legislative Decree 152/99, both the criteria for assessing the water quality of surface water bodies and the parameters and methods of monitoring have been completely amended. As a result of that law, the checks are carried out by ARPA.
