Coastal marine waters — mollusc analysis data (years 2008-2021)

Microbiological and chemical analyses of organisms to assess the conformity of water intended for the life of molluscs. Years 2008-2021. The data shall be collected as part of the monitoring programme for water intended for the life of molluscs; the monitoring is carried out in accordance with Legislative Decree 152/2006 — Annex 2 — Section C, which illustrates the general criteria and methodologies for the detection of qualitative characteristics and the calculation of the conformity of these waters with a specific functional destination. Measures of bacterial contamination and bioaccumulation of certain pollutants shall be carried out, as far as marine waters are concerned, on the bivalve Mytilus galloprovincialis using organisms taken on reefs/wires present near the monitoring transepts, near the coast line; in lagoons in addition to mussels, clams or oysters can also be analysed.
