The archive contains data on companies based in Tuscany and their employees; the information is derived from the archive ISTAT ASIA (Archvio Statistico delle Enterprise Active), the result of a process of integration of information from different sources of an administrative nature (Trade Chambers, INPS, Revenue Agency, etc.). The archive provides the information base for the analysis of the evolution of the structure of companies and their demographics; there are economic units that carry out activities in the industrial, commercial and services sectors for businesses and households. Economic activities related to agriculture and fisheries, public administration, and activities of association organisation and extraterritorial bodies are excluded from the field of observation.Information on economic activity is presented at the first level of detail (section) of the wider Ateco2007 classification.
