Consumption of households: average monthly expenditure by spending category and household income class

The average monthly expenditure of Milanese households is analysed by category of expenditure and by income class of the household. The total annual income of all members of the household, net of taxes and contributions, is indicated in the income brackets. The figures are expressed in euro and refer to the period 2008-2013. The source of the data is the survey “Consu-Mi, Observatory on consumption of households resident in the Municipality of Milan — 2013 edition” conducted by the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan. Note: a subsequent edition of the investigation is not planned.
