Covered Reception Areas — Strategic Structures

By Council Decision No 20 of 26 June 2017, the Inter-municipal Plan for Civil Protection of the municipalities of the Union Valle Savio was approved.Public buildings built with anti-seismic criteria, hospitals and health facilities, operational civil protection structures, and all those structures that are strategic or in any case important for the management of the emergency, in terms of the availability of adequate and safe spaces for the coordination of relief and assistance to the affected population. They are places, identified in safe areas with respect to the different types of risk and located in the vicinity of water, electricity and sewerage, where the first housing settlements are installed to accommodate the affected population. They will also have to be easily accessible by large vehicles to enable their installation and management. Accommodation facilities (hotels, residences, campsites, etc.) are also included in the definition of reception or accommodation areas.
