Database on socio-assistance officers of the Emilia-Romagna Region

The Data Bank of the “Social Services and Social Services” is managed by the Information System Health and Social Policy Service of the Emilia-Romagna Region in collaboration with the provincial administrations (see Article 28 of Law No 2 of 2003). The monitoring of the social-assistance offer concerns residential facilities, day care centres and home care services for user areas meeting the priority objectives defined by the regional programming, i.e. elderly, minors, disabled, immigrants, adults in difficulty. The surveys are carried out using a survey model agreed between the Region, Provinces and ISTAT and are managed through a web-based application between the Region and the Provinces. The Provinces carry out the collection at the managing bodies of the various facilities and services and take care of the input and control of data; the Region carries out the coordination and monitoring of the survey and sends to ISTAT the data falling within the competence of the national level.
