Dataset description

The class “Hedging element”, belongs to the Theme “Edified”, of the Layer “Building and Anthropisations”, of the Regional Geotopographic Database (code 020104 — ELE_CP), scale 1:5000, v. 2014. It describes one of the various roofing parts of a building, i.e. groundwater, terraces, domes, etc. but also elements to complement the roofing and that are mutually exclusive to the groundwater in the view from above, i.e. “the roofing pitches”. While the elements at the top but superimposed on the roofs (i.e. that do not pierce the groundwater as the case of the comignoli) are described among the architectural details. Among the objects involved in the three-dimensional modeling are the coverings of the building. These shall be cut at most on each building such that each roof is made up of one or more pitches, and each aquifer as a separate surface with a contour of a broken 3D closed; the summits of the broken have the q value of the share they compete. With reference to the proposed three-dimensional model, the reference area shall be that of each layer of the roof to which is associated as the extrusion part that of the point of the groundwater with a minimum altitude; in this case this quota is still the eaves share of the building. The geometric congruence of planimetric and altimetric between the groundwater and the built-up bodies that they cover must be verified.The roofing elements can also be extrusion surfaces, the roofs of the penthouse floors, the terraces, well terraces inserted in the rooftops, those located on towers, etc... For all these types of extrusion surfaces, the relative extrusion rate will be the proportion of the eaves of the building on which they insist. In addition, the flat or inclined pitches of semi-spherical domes or assimilable to them are included, which will be divided into wedges of contour (closed polyline 3D). Each clove will constitute extrusion surface and its extrusion quota will be the quota of the base of the dome.
