Dataset description
RASTER type data (ESRI GRID format), consisting of square cells of 10 m side. Flow Accumulation (FLOW Accumulation) expresses the progressive downstream accumulation of surface run-off water flow (or sub-surface), based on the flow directions provided by the Flow Direction grid. In this case the calculation method used is D8 (O'Callaghan J.F. & Mark D.M., 1984). The punctual numerical data of the individual cell expresses the number of cells upstream of the test cell, the flow of which converges and contributes to the range through the cell itself. The unit of measurement is the number of (dimensional) cells draining into the test cell. To obtain the area in square meters it is necessary to multiply by 100 square meters or the area of the single cell.
