Dataset description
RASTER type data (ESRI GRID format), consisting of square cells of 10 m side.SPI is the acronym of Strem Power Index. The physical significance of this index translates into the Quantification of the Energy exerted by a water flow in its Hortonian type surface outflow, when it crosses the section represented by the cell in question. The formula provides the energy that depends directly on both the amount of fluid passing through a section (Flow Accumulation) and its velocity which in turn is a function of slope inclination (Slope). The unit of measurement is the meters.
