Dataset description

this map service shows the 2020 revision of the hazard and risk maps of the Flood Risk Management Plan. This revision includes changes resulting from: — Changes made in the context of the variants to the PAI for the modification of the river bands of the Oglio river and the Seveso River (RP field); — changes and updates to the IAP 2 draft proposed by the municipalities in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 18 of the IAP (RSCM and locally RP scope); — changes to the RSP area proposed by the municipalities in accordance with the procedure referred to in point 3.3.5 of Legislative Decree 6738/2017 and already incorporated in the PGTs; — comments received from those received during the participatory phase of the 2019 revision of the maps. For the changes resulting from some of the comments accepted, given the size of the comments, the Basin Authority has ordered the need for a further three-month participation phase. The details of the changes made to the maps, and the need for a further phase of participation on some of the changes, are described in the decree of the Secretary-General of the Po River District Basin Authority approving the 2020 revision of the maps. The update of the maps concerns: the overall hazard maps (arrigable areas) that constitute a cognitive framework of the IAPs, the overall risk maps (R1, R2, R3, R4) in accordance with Legislative Decree No 49/2010, the hazard and risk maps (floating areas, tie rods, speed, exposed elements) in the APSFRs, which will be reported to the EU Commission. The map service Floods Directive 2007/60/EC — revision 2020, similar to the previous versions (2013, 2015 and 2019) contains the following information layers:PERICOLOSITY — Delimitation of areas potentially affected by floods for three flood scenarios: frequent H (TR 20-50 years), infrequent M (TR 100-200 years) and rare L (TR up to 500 years). The areas are identified for different territorial areas: main hydrographic network (RP), hill and mountain secondary hydrographic network (RSCM), lowland secondary hydrographic network (RSP), lacual coastal areas (ACL).RISE — Classification of exposed elements falling within floodable areas according to 4 degrees of increasing risk from moderate R1 to very high R4.APSFR — Areas with potential significant risk of district and regional importance.
