Dataset description

Cartography represents the elements potentially exposed to alluvial phenomena with linear geometry, relative to the territory of the Reno Basin Unit (UoM) (ITI021), in the portion falling within the Emilia-Romagna Region. It takes into account the macro-categories considered for the flood risk map, identifying — following the specifications of the Floods Directive — second cycle, Article 6 -, within floodable areas, the sensitive targets represented with linear geometry, expressed in terms of networks for the distribution of services, road and motorway networks, railway networks, etc. The data come from the most up-to-date databases available from various sources that together update and improve the accuracy of the data used in the first cycle of implementation of the Directive. The map of the exposed elements is represented according to the field “macrocategory district” and also has information on the damage classes (1-4 moderate to very high).
