Dataset description

Cartography represents the elements at risk with LINEARE geometry that may suffer potential negative consequences deriving from floods in relation to the Union of Management (UoM) district of the Po river (ITN008), in the portion falling within the Emilia-Romagna Region, expressed in terms of networks for the distribution of services, road and motorway networks, railway networks, etc. The risk map developed responds to two different approaches: according to the requirements of Directive 2007/60/EC (Article 6), it indicates the presence and location of the elements exposed within the areas with different flood hazards identified in the hazard maps, distinct in some codified categories; according to the requirements of Legislative Decree 49/2010, combining the probability of flooding with the vulnerability to flood phenomena and with the value of the exposed elements, it classifies the territory into 4 risk classes, R1 (moderate), R2 (medium), R3 (high), R4 (very high), pursuant to D.P.C.M. 29 September 1998.
