The map service shows: • the geothermal potential of Lombardy with indicated the location of geothermal probes connected to heat pumps for the production of hot water with renewable energy sources. • the suitability of the territory of the Province of Monza and Brianza for the use of geothermal heat pump systems based on heat exchange through water wells and vertical probes. The zoning distinguishes between “non-favourable” — “little” — “favorable” — “very favourable” areas.
