Dataset description

The visualisation service is connected to the Land Registry Georeferenced Waste Plants (C.G.R.-Web accessible from the website http://www.cgrweb.servizirl.it/cgrweb/menu.do?method=home). CGR web is a database shared by the Region and Provinces that contains the technical and administrative data relating to all the installations, including mobile ones, authorised to carry out waste management operations pursuant to Articles 208, 209, 211, 214, 215, 216 and Article 29-sexies of Legislative Decree 152/2006, to renewable source plants powered even partially by “biomass waste” (Legislative Decree 387/2003), and to plants authorised to treat liquid waste in urban waste water treatment plants, in accordance with Article 110 of Legislative Decree 152/2006. From the map service published here you can access that part of the CGR web information relating to the location of treatment plants. With the download service can be downloaded all the polygonal and punctual shapefiles related to the individual local units, as well as the alphanumeric data associated with them. The CGR web is updated daily, with the exception of data relating to the Provinces of Bergamo, Brescia and Milan for which a massive update is made once a month.
