Dataset description

The paper refers to the granulometric class of the soil according to the Soil Taxonomy, which expresses the breakdown of soil mineral particles including both fine earth (fractions smaller than 2 mm) and skeleton (fractions larger than 2 mm). Surface horizons are excluded in the definition of the granulometric class of the soil; in particular, in agricultural soils, ploughed soil is excluded.
