Dataset description

National framework of the perimeters of the Italian hydrogeological and hydraulic hazard warning zones used by the Central Functional Centre at the Department of Civil Protection in carrying out its activity of steering and coordinating the network of Functional Centres. The national framework is used for the realisation of the National Critical Bulletin issued by the Central Functional Centre to report the assessment of the average hydrogeological and hydraulic criticality levels expected, for the 36 hours following the date of issue, on the alert zones in which the Italian territory is divided. Includes alert zones: 1) of the Regions that have activated their own Functional Centre only hydro. These regions are the owners of the resource. The regions concerned are: Umbria, Lazio, Molise, Abruzzo, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily; 2) the Regions that have activated their own Functional Weather and Hydro Centre. These regions are the owners of the resource. The regions concerned are: Valle D’Aosta, Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Autonomous Province of Trento, Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Marche, Campania and Sardinia.
