The dataset contains two files referring to a 1931-2021 historical series related to: General immigration quotient, which is given by the ratio of the number of immigrants (I) in year t to the average population of that year x1000 (immigrants per thousand inhabitants).Qi = I/Pm • 1000 General emigration quotient, which is given by the ratio of the number of emigrants (E) of year t to the average population of that year x1000 (emigrants per thousand inhabitants) QE = E/Pm • 1000
