Dataset description

The dataset contains data on loans of different documents and materials in the district libraries of Milan, from 2007 to 2008. The variables according to which loans are classified are: library of first registration, library where the loan is perfected, type of material borrowed. ** Please note: ** the *“first treatment”* describes the loan of works not yet catalogued and not yet included in the heritage of the works owned by libraries but of which a summary cataloguing has been made to allow an immediate loan.
