Dataset description

Link to the download service of the LIDAR survey of the SIAT of the Autonomous Province of Trento which consists of the following products: * Digital Surface Model (DSM): it is the regular grid derived from the DG, appropriately filtered, re-sampled and orthometric to represent the trend of surfaces (first pulse), with a pitch of 1x1 meter (type 1) and 2x2 meters (type 2 and 3 areas); the expected delivery format is Arc/info’s ascii-grid. * Digital terrain model (DTM): it is the regular grid derived from the DG, appropriately filtered, re-sampled and orthometric to represent the course of the ground (last pulse), with a pitch of 1x1 meter (type 1) and 2x2 meters (type 2 and 3 areas); the expected delivery format is Arc/info’s ascii-grid. * The raw data (DG): it is sold only on specific request. It is voluminous and has documentary and design support purposes. In fact, having adequate skills and programs (e.g. MicroStation-TerraScan) you can make very effective classifications and detailed designs. It represents the set of all points detected, neither filtered nor processed (and, therefore, not tested); collected in ASCII files (*.ALL — textual version of the proprietary *.LAS format) or *.LAS. The path depends on the type of sensor, which, however, provides at least the pulse type (first, last), the UTM-WGS84 planimetric coordinates, the ellipsoidal altitude and the relative reflectivity heat for each point.
