Lithologic Paper 1:25.000-1984 Edition

The Lithological Charter highlights the litological characteristics of lithostratigraphic units. It was made by recovering cartographic material, whose geological surveys carried out at various scales and with different purposes and criteria have been revised, standardised and supplemented with new geological surveys in order to obtain, at regional level, a homogeneous picture of the main geolithological characteristics of the Emilia-Romagnol Apennines. In the late 1980s, themedism was acquired in computer and is available in ARC/INFO format. During the acquisition the legend of the paper has been reconverted, using the names of the lithostratographic units formations derived from the detection of the Geological Charter in scale 1:10,000, a project completed in recent years, but then in phase of realisation.Therefore, a geolithological map is available in a database, composed of the limits of the Lithological Charter and the legend of the new Geological Charter.
