Manual traffic survey years 1980-1985-1986-1991

During the 1980s, 1985, 1986, 1990 and 1991 road traffic censuses were carried out in accordance with uniform directives laid down by the then Member States of the EEC. These censuses allowed in detecting the transit of all vehicles, during the day, at a certain point, located on both provincial and state roads. On roads with the highest transit, 16 surveys were carried out throughout the year, some 12 and others 24 hours, while for roads with less traffic, the solution was adopted to make a single 24-hour detection.
