Municipal Register Free Forms Association 2013

Art. 16 — Establishment of the municipal register of free forms of association The Municipality of MATERA, in implementation of Legislative Decree 18.8.2000, n. 267, and the City Statute, in order to enhance and promote free forms of association, establishes the Municipal Register of Associations, hereinafter referred to as the Register, which has the function of censuring the associations operating in the municipal territory, which make an express request to be registered. The register of free forms of association also responds to the idea of Regional Law No. 40/2009 on the promotion and regulation of associations having a socio-cultural goal. The Register is kept at the Cultural Office responsible for its management and updating in the manner provided for in this Title. The same Register may be consulted in accordance with the rules on the right of access to administrative documents and documents. The Register is divided into the following thematic sections: a. Socio-sanitary activities; B. Civil Commitment; C. Protection and promotion of human rights; d. cultural and educational activities; e. Musical, recreational and sports activities; F. Environmental protection; G. Activities of an international character; Each free membership form can subscribe to a single thematic section. Art. 17 — Requirements for registration Free forms of association can be registered in the Register with the following requirements: Are non-profit-making and pursue purposes of collective interest; Are constituted legally in accordance with the rules in force in this area, i.e. by means of authenticated or registered private writing or by authenticated or registered private document; non-profit organisations must be constituted and operate in accordance with art. 10 et seq. of Legislative Decree No 460/1997; Are established on the date of application for registration; Have the operational headquarters in the Municipality of Matera even if the registered office and fixed in other Municipality, carry out activities in the municipal territory; Democracy of the membership structure; Have a number of members not less than 10 May not be entered in the Register: — the trade unions; — the parties; — the associative and organizational forms of direct emanation of the Municipal Administration or of other bodies or public administrations.
