Dataset description

The resource is functional to optimise the search for the individual areas maps through a geographical view and to make immediately available information on the individual maps produced. In transposition and application of Directives 92/43/EEC Habitats and 79/409/EEC Birds also in FVG have been designated sites of the Natura 2000 Network for the protection of biodiversity. As of 2015, the following have been identified: 24 SICs/SACs of the Alpine biogeographical region, 32 SICs/SACs of the continental one, 8 SPAs (of which 4 overlaps identically with SCI and with single code), 3 marine sites. 56 of the 63 different codified sites in the Region (all Alpine and continental JITs) have been designated by the competent Ministry: SAC, as they have conservation measures. For all sites, the Region prepares maps of habitats of Community interest. As of 31/12/2015 it is possible to make available the Habitats Charter of 60 of the 63 sites. The data base will also collect the maps made with a methodology that is homogeneous to that mentioned outside the perimeters of the encoded Sites. As of 31/12/2015, the following data are available: Areas “IBA Magredi di Pordenone”, Area linking ZPS “Carnic Alps” and SAC “Monte Auernig e Monte Corona”, Internal areas with perimeters of park or regional reserve (LR 42/1996) not perfectly coincide with the perimeters of the 63 Sites and the Municipal Park of Torre and Malina in Remanzacco. These findings have been made both for the needs of the Natura 2000 network and for other local needs and can be progressively implemented with the homogeneous maps available to the Administration.
