Pai Sicilia — Hydrographic Basin of the Torrent Deception and territorial area between the basin of the river Rosmarino and the basin of the stream Inganno (018)

The water catchment area of the Torrente Inganno and the adjacent eastern area, between the basin of the Rosemary River and the basin of the Torrente Inganno, are located in the central portion of the northern side of Sicily. The river basin district in question occupies a total area of about 81.32 sq km and is limited by the main watershed of the Nebrodi Mountains, which separates the Tyrrhenian side from the hinterland, and from the streams that flow into the stretch between S. Agata Militello and Acquedolci. The Nebrodi Mountains constitute a mountain range between the Peloritani to the east and the Madonie to the west, close to the northern Sicilian coast. From the administrative point of view, the district in question develops entirely in the territory of the Province of Messina and includes a total of 6 municipal territories (Acquedolci, Alcara Li Fusi, Cesaro, Militello Rosmarino, San Fratello, Sant’Agata Militello). The towns included within this territory are those of S.
