Dataset description

Please note: for a correct display and use of this dataset it is recommended to consult it on the original page on the Portal of the Municipality of Siena. At the same address there are also, for datasets enabled, additional access formats, preview of the view via API call, consultation of fields in DCAT-AP IT format, the ability to express an evaluation and comment on the dataset itself. All resource formats available for this dataset can be downloaded as ZIP packages: within the package will be à the resource is available in the chosen format, complete with all information on the metadata and license associated with it. The dataset contains part of the works constituting the general plan draft of the Municipality of Siena (in its latest version) in 1936 and signed by Andrea Mascagni, Chief Engineer of the Technical Office of the Municipality of Siena. The works (in.PDF format) consist of the single table of project set (remained at the project level of general) and 7 of the 17 drawings made by the painter Arturo Viligiardi and placed in support of the documentation presented. The timeline of the procedure of the plan is: — 10 October 1932: report and presentation of the plan by Andrea Mascagni accompanied by drawings representative of Arturo Viligiardi — 25 January 1933: decision to approve the plan by the Power Fabio Bargagli Petrucci — 16 December 1935: second report in response to the comments of the Syndicate of Engineers with some variants to the original plan — 11 February 1936: sending to the Ministry of Public Works for approval — 12 November 1937: reply from the Ministry that postpones the examination of the works and the related evaluations to the City Council and the Civil Engineer — no subsequent act definitively approving the overall plan drawn up so far.
