Public Institutions: employees by Ateco sections and divisions, gender and employee class

The dataset contains information on public institutions detected by the Census of Industry and Services 2011. Public institutions are legal and economic units whose main function is to produce non-market goods and services and/or to redistribute income and wealth and whose main resources consist of compulsory withdrawals from households, enterprises and non-profit institutions or non-repayable transfers received from other institutions of the public administration. The variables detected concern the number of employees of the institutions by class and gender of employees and the Ateco section and division of the institution.
