Dataset description

Regione Toscana has equipped itself with an informative layer of roadworthiness in accordance with existing standards and directives at national and European level. The roadway graph consists of the following basic entities:----Road element: linear entity bounded by two joints, identified by an ordered set of points. It generally represents the axis of a single-track section of road.----Road junction: it is normally a point of intersection of the axles of two road elements. A junction is always a punctual entity (node), represented in geometric terms by a pair of coordinates. From the base entities are derived the following:----Extreme administrative: set of road elements aggregated according to administrative criteria, i.e. the administrative classification of the road and its patrimony.----Toponym: it corresponds to a portion of the mobility network, to which is assigned a certain name from a given municipality, which is part of the municipal road. The basic entities have been associated with other information:--- civic number: it is used to define an address, it has no spatial component and is always logically related to access. Each civic always corresponds to an external access that can be direct or indirect.----Access: a specific element identifying on the territory external, direct or indirect main or secondary access to a specific place of residence/activity.
