Regional Database of Municipal Structural Plans (PSC) — Macro classification of the municipal territory (S_TER_PL)

Classification of the territory as urbanised, urbanised or rural in accordance with Article 28 of Regional Law No 20/2000. The urbanised territory ‘covers all areas actually built or under construction and the plots intercluded’, the rural territory consists of the whole of the non-urbanised territory and is characterised by the need to integrate and make coherent policies aimed at safeguarding the natural, environmental and landscape value of the territory with policies aimed at ensuring the development of sustainable agricultural activities; the urbanised territory is “rural territory susceptible to urbanisation”. Each type of territory is characterised by the maximum settlement quantification provided for in the urban plan for new housing and for new productive or specialised establishments.
