Regional Geological Database — An extract from the medatates of the original dataset is given below. The class expresses the direction of stratified surfaces and related to stratigraphic measurements. It is part of a series of datasets that show the occurrence of stratigraphic, mineralogical or tectonic surfaces, or which have a measurable geometric attitude with compass and clinometer (orientation in relation to the geographical North of the intersection between the surface and the horizontal plane and its inclination to the vertical plane measured against the horizontal) and which therefore require the indication of immersion/direction and inclination values. The dataset shows the directions of the surfaces in degrees (0-360). A label with the angle of inclination is presented on the 1:10,000 scale.
