Regional register of state-owned maritime concessions for recreational tourism purposes

The data reported are annual and have been certified by the officials responsible for the offices of the maritime property of the 23 municipalities of the Lazio coast. For 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 the types of concessions identified correspond to those provided for in Article 2(1) of Regulation (EC) No 11/2009, for which the following acronyms have been used: SB: Bathing establishments — SA: Equipped beaches — PO: Mooring points — ER: Catering establishments — SR: Accommodations — ARS: Recreational and sporting activities — NIAB: Boat rental and bathing equipment. For the 2016 year, in implementation of the entry into force of Law No 8 of 26 June 2015 and of Regional Regulation No 19 of 12/08/2016, the types of concessions correspond to those referred to in Article 3(1) of R.R. No 19/2016, which amends the typology ‘equipped beaches (SA)’ with that of ‘Free beaches with services (SLS)’. For the purpose of identifying the type, the main purpose that can be identified in the grant licence has been assessed.
