Dataset description

The CTR is framed in the conforming representation “Gauss-Boaga” (Fuso Est), with geodetic reference based on the international ellipsoid oriented to Monte Mario (Rome 1940). The geographical cut of the Elements considered “cartographic return unit”, is equal to one sixteenth of the new Italian map on a scale of 1:50,000 produced by IGMI with dimensions equal to 3‘latitude and 5’ longitude. The return of the CTR was carried out in three functional projects (Project No.1 — Zona Nord, Project N.2 — Zona Centro, Project N.3 — Zona Sud) for the Obvi area. 5b, with the exclusion of the sections already carried out by the Tuscany Region on a flight of 1996, and then extended to the coastal strip according to the scheme shown in the following figure. The aerial recovery covers the entire regional territory and consists of three blocks with the same latitude limit as the projects. Due to the weather conditions, the flight was carried out at different times: August 1999, for the central band, and May-June 2000 for the other two. The table of contents refers to the text “Proposal rules for the formation of technical maps at scales 1:5,000 and 1:10,000 formulated by the Geodetic Commission (1973)” and to Article 4 of the AL. No 35 of 17 December 1999 on the “Provision for spatial information and regional cartography”. Each section has been accompanied by chalk and bandage showing the values of the Gauss-Boaga/Roma40 Fuso Est and UTM/ED50 Fuso 33 plane coordinates, the ED50 geographical coordinates, the union pictures for the reference to the adjacent sections and the municipal administrative boundaries.
