Regional Technical Paper: historical Edition 1980-1994

The CTR is a topographic map on a scale of 1:10.000 representing the entire regional territory. It was realised in a first edition in the years 1980-1983 and subsequently updated in 1991 for a part of the mountain territory of the Province of Brescia and in 1994 for the southern half of the Lombard territory. The CTR was made according to the classic photogrammetric method: aerial photography, return, reconnaissance on the ground for the identification and correct classification of details not distinguishable from aerial shots, topographical drawing of the details identified and composition of the whole cartography in sections, each of which covers a real area of 40Kmq. The CTR shall consist of: geometric elements and entities (kilometre-linked, geographical coordinates, quoted points, isoipse, etc.); building blocks of the natural landscape (hydrographic network, lakes, reliefs, vegetation, etc.); building blocks of the man-made landscape (settlements, roads, railways, canals, etc.); administrative limits; place me.
