Register of contaminated sites

The dataset contains the list of sites included in the Register of Contaminated Sites pursuant to D.M. 471/99 and the subsequent Legislative Decree 152/06. The sites present do not correspond to the totality of those listed in the Register. Available are those that, from the analysis of some information present in the database, are contaminated, or with planned remediation intervention, or concluded. Each site is identified by a pair of progressive codes, regional and provincial respectively. The main table, containing the geographical coordinates in the UTM WGS84 reference system, is associated with the table with the contaminated environmental matrices and the family of contaminants found. Each site may correspond to several contaminated matrices. For linking information, the key field is ID_SITO. The detailed information of the sites can be entered into the system at different times, so it is possible that at the time of the extraction of the data for publication in this portal some records are incomplete.
