Dataset description

The map shows the subdivision of the “non-mountain” regional territory into Comprehensori di Bonifica e Irrigazione, homogeneous hydrographic and hydraulic units, functional to the needs of programming, execution and management of the activity of reclamation of irrigation and soil protection (Article 78 Regional Law 31/2008). The delimitation of the areas was approved by Decision No 2994 of 8 February 2012 of the Regional Executive (D.G.R.) and subsequently amended by Legislative Decree No 5594 of 19 September 2016. On the territory of each area are shown: the irrigation and reclamation network with some attributes (function, characteristics of the seat and section, bottom and side coating, the presence of pipelines), lifting systems, hydraulic products, other artifacts (purifiers and hydroelectric plants). The fountains with associated information from a specific research project are also represented: “Source — Protection and Valorisation of the Fontanili of the Lombard Territory” funded by the Lombardy Region and realised by the University of Milan — University of Agriculture and U.R.B.I.M. Lombardy in March 2012. The level is available in download: Districts 2016; the entire Sibiter network can be downloaded from the Download of the map service “Riru”.
