Dataset description

Vector-type geo-referenced database containing a punctual symbology related to reports of particular geological phenomena. The alerts have been grouped into six categories: leakage of gas from wells for water and/or soil; water wells with hot water; die of fish; presence of fractures and/or sinking of the soil; appearance of mud and/or sand volcanoes; drained water wells. The reports were forwarded by the citizen to the Regional Geological Service, starting from May 2012 until now; they come mainly from the areas affected by the May 2012 earthquake. Each report shall be accompanied by a monographic sheet which summarises the main characteristics of the phenomenon: location; brief description of the type; possible interventions; geological and sesmotectonic framework; photographic material and possible links to publications (newspaper and/or other articles) related to the phenomenon.
